A Birthday, Baby Blessing, and visit from Grandma!

This past week has been completely insane to say the least!!! It all began with us purchasing a mini van!! That's right, we have decided to cave and buy a van. We don't really need a bigger vehicle yet, but decided the extra room would be nice since 2 car seats took up almost the entire back seat of my car. So we sold my Maxima, and bought a 2004 Nissan Quest. So far I LOVE it!!! And I will love it even more as soon as the loan is paid off!! This was the first time I ever had to get a car loan, so it was kind of a sad day!

Next, my mom came to visit from PA. Brynn was very excited for Grandma Sherryl to come visit, and was especially excited about the presents she brought!! We also celebrated Brynn's second birthday by throwing a Mickey Mouse birthday party!!!! I probably went a little over-board, but it was so much fun doing something special for her birthday! I just can't believe my little girl is 2!!!

Another special event was Blake's baby blessing. He was blessed on Mother's Day which made the day even more special for me! I can't believe he is 3 weeks old already! He is growing well, and has finally got the nursing down so that is a relief to me! Now to get him to sleep at night...I know it will happen eventually, but I am feeling so TIRED!!! He is such a sweet little boy though, and I have to say that the transition to 2 children hasn't been quite as tricky as I thought it would be, Don't get me wrong, it is hard...but I was expecting it to be a whole lot worse!!
