More Blake

Here are a few more pictures of little Blake! So far, he is a very mellow little guy which is nice!! He just needs to get his days and nights straight so I can get some sleep!!! Although he is awake most of the night, he doesn't cry much so I guess I shouldn't complain! He is also having some struggles in the nursing department which is probably the hardest thing for me right now!! Sometimes he does just fine, and other times he will only take a bottle and I just have to pump and feed it to him. So I am hoping that he will get better and will just nurse all the time because I really don't want to quit!!

Brynn is just loving having Blake here and love to hold him, help out, and just watch everything that he does. It is pretty cute. But I will be honest, I am getting really nervous for next week because then I will have both kids on my own!!! It has been sooooo nice having Jesse here to help out this week :)

He's Here!!

Our little boy arrived yesterday at 2:17 pm!!! We are naming him Blake (not quite sure about the middle name yet), and he was 7 lbs 8 oz and 20 in long. Everything went really well with the delivery which I was thankful for! I was in labor for 6 hours, and only had to push a few times. He is a pretty calm little guy so far, so I am hoping it stays that way after we get home!! And Brynn seemed pretty excited about him when she came to see him yesterday, so I am hoping she still likes him when we bring him home tomorrow!

My little singer

Brynn has gotten really into singing lately, and I finally caught a little of it on video this morning during breakfast! This is her singing "I am a Child of God" for those of you who are familiar with that song.

Easter Weekend

I think it is safe to say that Brynn enjoyed her Easter weekend! On Saturday, we went to an Easter party that my friend Crystal had. Brynn LOVED the Easter egg hunt, and I think she ended up with the most eggs out of all of the kids! She is serious about her candy :) She also got to color eggs for the first time. I think her favorite part was coloring them with the crayon before putting them in the dye.

She was also THRILLED with everything the Easter Bunny brought her. After seeing how much candy she got from the Easter egg hunt, I was very happy that most of the things in her Easter basket were non-food items!! Our Easter Sunday was pretty relaxing which is just what I wanted! That morning we had all of Jesse's family over for breakfast (which we always do on conference Sunday). Then they all stayed and watched General Conference at our house. After they all left, we just decided to relax for the rest of the day. I didn't make an Easter dinner...instead, Jesse and Brynn ate grilled cheese sandwiches and I had leftovers from breakfast. That's just as good as it gets 2 weeks before you are going to have a baby! I still can't believe our new little guy will be here in 12 days!! I am getting really anxious to see what he looks like, and to not be pregnant anymore! But once again, I have gotten a really bad cold, so I am hoping he holds out until the 17th so that I can get better before he arrives!!!
