I have been so terrible about posting on my blog latley! Mainly because nothing extremely exciting has happened where I feel like I need to post about it immediately. So this will just be a random post with all of the little things that have been going on around here. First on the list... our lawn mower died a couple weeks ago which was both good and bad. Good because I never liked that mower anyways ( I couldn't get it started, so I could never mow the lawn unless Jesse was home), and bad because we had to shell out the money for a new mower. But being "thrifty" (or poor, whatever you want to call it) as we are, we ended up buying a used mower off of KSL. We got such a great deal though! The mower was just purchased last September, and was only used about 10 times. So it seems new to us! And I love it!!!!! I told Jesse that he can't mow the lawn all summer because that is my job! It is so easy to start, and is so powerful, and does so much more than our old mower did. And the best part is that we saved enough money buying it used that we were also able to buy a tiller attachment for our weed wacker which saves a lot of time when weeding the garden!!! These new purchases will make our yard work so much easier! Which brings me to our next thing... we planted out garden in the very beginning of May, so that's all done. It is so much fun to watch all of the little plants come up! We planted; tomatoes, peppers, corn, onions (green and white), broccoli, zucchini, yellow squash, carrots, peas, green beans, lettuce, cucumbers, and cilantro. And then we also have our berry patch with raspberries and strawberries. I can't wait for all the fresh fruit and veggies! And I am going to try to do alot more canning this summer so we'll see how that goes.
And now for a Brynn update! She is getting so big and is growing up so fast! At her last doctors appointment she weighed 19 pounds 6 oz and was 27 1/2 inches long. She still isn't walking yet, but she is a very fast crawler, and climbs and gets into everything! She is still going to the bathroom on the toilet which is AWESOME!! We rarely have to change poopy diapers, and this is really saving us money in that department because we don't go through nearly as many diapers in one day. She is also extremely talkative these days. She does a lot a babbling, and says words like; mama, dada, yes, no, matt, bryce (which is more like byce), and belly. There may be more, that's just all I can think of right now. And she is understanding so many words! She is just so much fun. I have also started watching my nephew Cameron three afternoons a week so Brynn is slowly adjusting to having a baby around the house. She gets really jealous so that can be tricky at times! Well, that's really all that's going on here. I don't want to bore you too much! Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day tomorrow!!

Our day at temple square
My brother Zach and his wife Amy are in town from Pennsylvania right now, and Brynn and I took them up to Salt Lake today and we toured temple square. We were also able to meet up with my Uncle Bill and cousin Dan there. It was such a beautiful day, and we had a great time! Here are a few pictures.
Happy Birthday Brynn!!

Brynn's new potty seat
Here is a picture of Brynn using her new potty seat from Grandma. She loves using it and especially loves the fact that she can sit on it all by herself! We decided one of these would be lots easier than a little potty that we need to clean out each time she uses it. She continues to do so well at using the potty and we are finding that we go through fewer and fewer diapers a day as time goes by. It will be so nice when she can actually walk and talk and tell us that she needs to go! But for now, this seems to be working and we are hoping to have her potty trained a little early. We'll see how that goes.
Oh, and Brynn's first tooth finally broke through yesterday! We were beginning to wonder if she would have any teeth by her first birthday and it looks ike she will have at least one :)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSE!!!
I just wanted to make a quick post to wish my wonderful husband a HAPPY BIRTHDAY before the day is over!! We are finally the same age and he can't make fun of me for being old anymore :) We had a great day full of fun activities. Some of the main highlights were going to the driving range and eating at Wingers. Here are a few pictures from the driving range. It was a great day!! Happy birthday again Jesse!

11 months old and an update on life
I have been busy lately working on the census. I know I posted earlier that I wasn't going to do it any more, but I changed my mind. I got a call a couple weeks ago asking if I wanted to just be a lister and go around verifying addresses. The great part is that the superviser said that I could take Brynn around with me. So I decided to try it out for a while. So that is how the majority of my time is spent these days... walking around and verifying addresses. It's not the most exciting thing, but I get to do a lot of walking and also get paid for it (which is how I was able to fund the new stroller). And I will only be doing it till Brynn's birthday so it shouldn't be too bad.
My latest purchase
Here is a picture of my latest purchase...a double jogging stroller. No, I am not having another baby! But I will be watching my cute little nephew everyday when my sister is at work starting in a few weeks so I thought it would be a good thing to have. And I have been looking for a compact size tandom jogging stroller for a while, and they are not easy to find! So I was very excited when I saw someone selling this on craigslist. It's not much bigger than my single jogging stroller, and I can't wait to try it out :)
